Rescue Story
Muppet
We adopted Muppet (formerly Sable) from Saving Grace on 12/20/2024, and she quickly became our whole world. Just weeks later, she suffered a sudden, life-threatening anaphylactic reaction. Thanks to the quick action of our vet, Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital, and the incredible team at NC State Veterinary Hospital, Muppet survived—despite being in critical condition.

She spent days in intensive care, supported by IVs and oxygen, and miraculously pulled through with no lasting damage. Today, she’s thriving—spending weekends at her beach house, loving boat rides, and bringing joy to everyone she meets.
