Contact Us

If you want to inquire about adopting a specific dog listed on our website, please go through the application process THAT STARTS HERE. Fill out the Application in Step 2. We typically respond to applications with 48-72 hours.

While we do have a phone number – the best way to reach us is by filling out this form.

As a virtually all volunteer organization, we spend the majority of our time out with the dogs and adopters and not in the office. So if you really must call – please allow us lots and lots of time to get back to you!

(seriously – filling out this form is better!)

On a more serious note. We are not a public facilty and can not accept any stray, abandoned or surrendered pets.

We visit shelters across North Carolina and look for dogs that we feel have the best opportunity for a ‘second chance’. We also take a lot of dogs in critical situations. Whether it be a puppy mill case, a cruelty case, dogs from devastation like the recent hurricane dogs or veterinary partners who have great dogs abandoned in their clinic when the owner dies.

In 2018, we successfully adopted over 2300 dogs to their ‘fur-ever homes’.  Each and every adoption creates a new opening at Saving Grace – that literally means that two lives are saved.
