Our Spay/Neuter Clinic

In 2020 when veterinary clinics and spay/neuter clinics closed or were working with small teams, it became crucial for us to be self-sustainable for spay/neuter surgeries and medical needs. It was important for us to shorten the length of time between intake and adoption so dogs waiting at our shelter partners did not run out of time and had a chance at adoption. The Saving Grace surgery clinic opened in October of 2020.

For most of our patients, this is the first time they have ever seen a veterinarian.

While our primary focus remains spay neuter, we provide numerous other surgeries necessary for pets to be healthy and available for adoption. The clinic plays a critical role in helping dogs who require immediate assessment and medical treatment that might have otherwise cost them their lives.

Working primarily with our Saving Grace animals, the clinic provides wellness care and disease prevention services, including vaccinations, blood work, and routine surgeries. Our advanced procedures, such as amputations, eye surgeries (including entropion and cherry eye repair and enucleations), heartworm treatments, mass removals, trauma repairs for wounds and lacerations, and more. Through these services, we can give dogs a second chance at a healthy life.
