Majlak’s Story: From Shy Pup to Loyal Shadow
When I first met Majlak (formerly Copperpot), he was shy, scared, and unsure of the world—including me. But with patience, love, and plenty of good food, he slowly came out of his shell.
When I first met Majlak (formerly Copperpot), he was shy, scared, and unsure of the world—including me. But with patience, love, and plenty of good food, he slowly came out of his shell. Now he’s my shadow, following me everywhere, playing tag in the yard, and curling up beside me whenever he can.
He’s still learning to trust new people, but he’s come so far. What used to be a full retreat is now a cautious walk-by. He loves my dad, his 15-year-old cat sister Snickers, and his new favorite accessory—a dinosaur hat.
I chose Saving Grace because I knew there were so many animals who just needed a chance. And if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have Majlak—the best dog I could’ve ever asked for.
