"I adopted my sweet Mr. Boo 18 years ago from Saving Grace. He was the heart of our family—growing up alongside our six children and later becoming a companion to our twelve grandchildren.
“I adopted my sweet Mr. Boo 18 years ago from Saving Grace. He was the heart of our family—growing up alongside our six children and later becoming a companion to our twelve grandchildren. Mr. Boo stayed by my husband’s side every day as he battled brain cancer. We said goodbye to him three months ago, and while it was heartbreaking, the memories are beautiful and lasting. Now, I’m sitting beside Ms. Chloe, our newest Saving Grace family member. She’s adorable and brave, working through heartworms and ear infections with love and resilience. She’s already bonding with our cat, Ms. Cricket, and spending time with my youngest son’s family so she feels at home in both places. At 70+, I want to make sure she’s surrounded by love and comfort. Saving Grace has always held a special place in my heart, ever since I first walked through their doors. I hope to start volunteering once Chloe is fully settled—because rescue truly is a team effort.”
