My family adopted our first dog from Saving Grace in 2016. I was still in high school and under 18, so I couldn’t volunteer on-site, but we started weekend hosting—and I found so much joy in being part of it.

What keeps her coming back? “It’s amazing to see volunteers who’ve been here since I started. Some even recognized me right away.
