From Weekend Host to Forever Family
What drew me to Saving Grace was the flexibility of fostering and the amazing support from the foster team. I started as a weekend host, then fostered single dogs, pairs, and even a mama with her puppies!

One foster story changed everything. This volunteer met Fangirl (now Naga) after fostering her companions, Joyce and Curls. When Fangirl gave birth to two puppies, the volunteer stepped up to foster the whole family—and ended up adopting Fangirl.

What makes this volunteer most proud?
“Rescue is a chance to be part of a dog’s story and their happy ending. Even short-term fosters make a huge difference. I’m proud to work with an organization that pulls dogs from shelters across North Carolina.”
