Charlie & Harley: A Tale of Love and Loyalty
Charlie came into our lives in 2010, a tiny 3-year-old Chihuahua who stole our hearts the moment we saw him. It was our first visit to Saving Grace, and as we walked the property with Molly, we spotted him up on a hill. I picked him up, and he immediately cuddled into me. It was love at first sight.

From that day forward, Charlie was my shadow. He brought joy, comfort, and unconditional love until we said goodbye in 2021. I miss him every single day.

Later that year, we returned to Saving Grace to find a companion for our little girl Chihuahua. That’s when Harley came racing into our lives—literally! He ran straight to my husband like a lightning bolt, and we knew instantly he was meant to be ours. Harley has been another precious joy, filling our home with laughter and love.
We’re so grateful to Molly and the volunteers at Saving Grace. It’s a place filled with heart, hope, and the promise of new beginnings. Thank you for helping us find not just pets—but family.
