CeCe: Worth the Wait
Almost a year ago, we adopted CeCe (formerly Cookies and Cream) from Saving Grace. We were still grieving the loss of our previous dogs and hesitant to open our hearts again—but CeCe was exactly what we needed.
Almost a year ago, we adopted CeCe (formerly Cookies and Cream) from Saving Grace. We were still grieving the loss of our previous dogs and hesitant to open our hearts again—but CeCe was exactly what we needed.
She’s helped heal our hearts, and we’ve helped her grow more confident, especially around men and boys. She’s now our little travel buddy, loves fetch, walks, dog parks, and politely cheers on her brothers at soccer and lacrosse games.
We had always bought from breeders, but this time we wanted to rescue—and Saving Grace made that possible. It took a few visits to find the right match, but CeCe was absolutely worth the wait. 🥰
We’re looking forward to giving back and volunteering to help other families find their own “CeCe.”
