Bruce & Harley: A Family Completed
Bruce came into our lives in the spring of 2022. We saw his photo online and instantly felt a connection. When we arrived at Saving Grace later that day, we were nervous—he had just arrived at the farm. But there he was, the last of his litter, waiting quietly. It felt like fate.

From the moment we brought Bruce home, he became our protector and companion. He rescued us just as much as we rescued him. Through life’s ups and downs, Bruce has been a steady, loyal presence—exactly what we needed, even when we didn’t know it.
In 2024, we returned to Saving Grace—this time, just to look. After a tough day, I wanted a little joy. We met a few puppies, but none felt quite right. Then my husband spotted Harley, sitting patiently in her pen. We walked over, and she chose us. It was an impulsive decision, but Harley was the missing piece of our family. She’s brought so much joy and balance to our lives.
We’re endlessly grateful to Saving Grace for giving us not one, but two incredible companions. Their thoughtful process and loving environment make all the difference. Rescue truly goes both ways.
