SNAP-NC
Snap NC been one of Saving Grace’ s most valuable partners even before our rescue was officially established. As a mobile hospital, their mission is to go into the most underserved counties and address the over pet population epidemic and provide basic vaccinations along with spay/neuter surgeries. They have provided a significant service, not only to Saving Grace and our animals, but also low income residents in many surrounding communities that we work with. Whether we are partnering to save animals from a puppy mill, cruelty case or animal shelter, we can count on SNAP and their surgeons and technicians to provide high quality care. They work with us hand in hand to assess and determine the medical needs of each animal that comes through their door. It doesn’t matter that the animals we bring to them are unowned and have little if any previous veterinary care, they are evaluated and treated equally with clinical expertise, compassion and care.
Not only does SNAP provide quality spay/neuter surgeries, but they also regularly provide amputation and enucleation surgeries as well as a variety of other essential care. Their efforts make dogs who’ve never received veterinary care, and often suffered long term pain, comfortable and adoptable. We are thankful for SNAP, the work they do in our underserved communities and the professional, compassionate care they provide to Saving Grace Animals.
