Planning Your Visit to Saving Grace
Helpful guidelines to make your visit to the farm even more fabulous:

General Info
The Saving Grace dogs are lucky to have so many wonderful families eager to meet them (just like CELEBRITIES)! This keeps our wonderful group of volunteers bustling with appointments. In hoping to offer a visit to as many interested parties as possible, there are always several families visiting during each allotted slot. As a volunteer-based program, available appointments and wait times depend on the availability of volunteers at any given time. We appreciate visitors coming with an open mind and time to spend with the dogs if our team is experiencing a busy time. Your patience with our team and other visitors is much obliged.
Our team strives to ensure everyone feels comfortable with their adoption experience and decision as well as confident in fulfilling their new dog’s needs post adoption. We understand that this forever match may not happen at a potential adopter’s initial visit so although we do not hold dogs or offer trial periods, we never want a visitor to feel obligated to make a choice until prepared and certain.
Saving Grace always has a wonderful group of available dogs. Most of our dogs are very much mixed. All listed breed mixes are an assessment based on appearance. We encourage families to choose their new companion based on personality and temperament rather than possible breed mix. Age will most commonly be an estimate.
If you would like to bring your current dog to meet potential new family members, please make sure this is coordinated via email prior to your appointment. Someone must be present to wait with the dogs at all times, in our waiting area outside the gate. There is a small seating area, however, there is not an off-leash area so all meetings are on leash.

If this is your first visit or we’ve seen you many times, here’s a couple of helpful hints:
Traveling to the Farm: We’re near I-540 and North Raleigh so sometimes traffic can be heavy depending on your adoption appointment time. Just make sure you add some additional minutes.
Parking: While our lot is large enough to handle most appointments and events, it can get tough to navigate. Please don’t park along Old Creedmoor Rd or any residential driveways.
Entering the Property: Our double-gated pedestrian entrance is located in the parking lot just past the small blue shed. Look for a Saving Grace greeter or volunteer and notify them you’re there for an appoinment. Please make sure you close one gate before opening the other as you’re likely to encounter some friendly pups looking to say hello!
Bringing your dog for a meet and greet? Make sure you notify your adoption counselor prior to your visit. At arrival, leave it safely with someone else in the parking lot until every one can be escorted inside with your Saving Grace adoption counselor.
