While expecting our first baby boy, fostering became very important to me. I visited several shelters to see where volunteering would have the most impact. That’s when I came across Saving Grace and found that puppy sleepovers were an option! Yes, please! One of my first fosters was Poppy. I instantly fell in love with her and knew it was my calling to foster dogs.
I have bonded with each foster dog and learned lots of new things with each experience. These dogs need love, patience, attention and more than anything, a fighting chance at a life full of love and care.
If you can become a foster, you should do it. It’s one of the best experiences I have ever had.
