Bailey’s Story: A Constant Through Life’s Changes
Bailey came into my life as a tiny puppy in 2016, and for the past nine years, she’s been my constant—through relationships, job changes, health scares, and everything in between. She’s licked my tears, soothed me to sleep with her little snores, and made me smile every day with her toy monkey in tow.

When I first visited Saving Grace, I was struck by the homey, welcoming spaces where the dogs could play and just be dogs. Bailey walked right up to me, and I scooped her into my arms. I may have rescued her that day—but she’s saved me over and over again since.
In 2022, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Bailey was gentle, patient, and always by my side—whether I needed rest or fresh air. Her quiet companionship was a healing force during one of the hardest times in my life.
Saving Grace gave me a beautiful gift in Bailey. Their care, compassion, and commitment to every dog’s story is something I admire deeply. I’ve supported them with donations over the years, but there’s no way to truly repay them for the love Bailey has brought into my life.
