Bobbie – Our Recovery of the month for November

November 1, 2021

Bobbie arrived at Saving Grace with a badly broken leg that required an emergency amputation. Because his injury was so severe, he was scheduled for his surgery the day after he arrived at Saving Grace.

It was quite the whirlwind for sweet Bobbie getting his freedom ride and having surgery all within 24 hours, but luckily, he hit the jackpot with his medical fosters, Betsy, and Lee Collins. This dynamic duo are amazing fosters that do so much for the dogs and foster program at Saving Grace. Bobbie landed in the perfect spot to get some much-needed rest and time to heal from surgery. He received excellent care and just the right amount of spoiling as well!

Fosters like Betsy and Lee make it possible for dogs like Bobbie to come to Saving Grace and receive the medical attention they need. Sometimes these dogs need immediate care or surgery and having amazing fosters who step up time and time again to help these dogs in their time of need absolutely saves lives and allows Saving Grace to give them a second chance. Thank you so much to all our medical fosters for your dedication and willingness to help dogs like Bobbie!

Bobbie is back at the farm now and ready to find his forever home! He is such a sweet, loving and resilient boy that truly deserves the best!!!!
