Are you or do you know a Vet who will donate some time?

Saving Grace is in need of Veterinarians who would volunteer to come on site for a few hours during the business week to provide Heartworm treatments and Wellness Exams. The main task of the Heartworm treatments is the injections.

Knowledge and experience with shelter medicine is preferred, but not required.

Veterinarians would be assisted by Saving Grace team members. Dogs to be seen will be prepped and prepared prior to the visits and medical techs assist with preparing any new medications prescribed. Updating of medical sheets and documentation would also be required.

We are immensely appreciative of the donated time offered by our full-time veterinarians and strive to work around schedules, times, and constraints to maximize any time they have to care for the shelter animals.
