Host Update for easy-going Bolt! See what his host said about their time with Bolt while he looks for hisfurever family:"Bolt is a great, friendly, easygoing pup. There are a couple things his new fam will need patience and understanding for as he learns the basics. He was showing lots of improvement over the short weekend we had him. He wants to do well, he just doesn't know everything yet. Bolt is fantastic with house training and sleeping in the crate at night, no problems at all. He pulls a bit on the leash but again, some training will do do wonders. He showed improvement by the end of the weekend. He really wants to please and just needs someone to put the time in to teach him the basics he still needs to learn. He really is just a big puppy with a huge heart. We loved having him"!To meet Bolt, schedule an appointment by submitting an adoption request on our website's "Adopt" page.To host an amazing dog like Bolt, sign up for our host weekend sleepovers on our website's "Host a Dog"page: loom.ly/MG6X_8ILearn more about Bolt by checking out his bio on our website.https://loom.ly/rzTv-AM#hostupdate #rescuedog #dogrescue #doglovers #happydog #adoptme #savinggracenc#dogsleepover #hostadog #foster ... A few faces from TODAY. Just ONE day, which happens to be Giving Tuesday to show a small example of lives touched through Saving Grace.. We rely on your support to be the change these dogs need in their world. To donate or share our Giving Tuesday fundraiser, click the below link:www.facebook.com/donate/542036787426523/?fundraiser_source=external_url ... Throughout the week, dogs in need are constantly arriving at Saving Grace. These tiny puppies came in today and will get vaccines, dewormer, flea and tick prevention, and head out to a foster where they will stay for the next month. During this time, they will continue to receive vaccines, routine deworming, and care for any other medical needs that arise. Because animals coming to Saving Grace come from the most underserved areas of the Carolinas, they often have had no preventative care and poor nutrition which can be challenging for these little guys.Your donations make it possible for us to continue to help sweet puppies like these 🙏 Please continue sharing and donating to our Giving Tuesday fundraiser and help us reach our goal by the end of the week:www.facebook.com/donate/542036787426523/?fundraiser_source=external_url ... Thanks to everyone who has donated to our Giving Tuesday fundraiser - we have until the end of the week to reach our goal so keep sharing! The link to the fundraiser is below. This little guy is Chubby! He is in our spay/neuter clinic today to have surgery on his eye to correct "Cherry Eye". Cherry eye is when some of the eyelid skin comes out of the eye and has to be sutured back into the eyelid. We have about 100 dogs each year at SG that require this surgery. This costs $200 - $300 in addition to the regular veterinary care each dog receives. Without your sponsorship, Chubby wouldn't be receiving this surgery today. Because of you, he is one step closer to a forever home.Be the reason a dog like Chubby gets the love and care it needs.www.facebook.com/donate/542036787426523/?fundraiser_source=external_url ... A Message from Molly:On the eve of Giving Tuesday, we hope you will consider making a difference by donating to those animals in most need. Here are a few faces of dogs in the Saving Grace clinic today recovering from their spay/neuter surgery. Some had masses to remove, some had care from previous trauma. For most dogs who come to Saving Grace, this is the first time they have ever seen a veterinarian and been evaluated for their medical needs. The only reason they have this opportunity is because someone like you made a donation. At Saving Grace, we work hard to change the world for each dog we meet and this is only possible through generous donations.Click the link below to visit our Giving Tuesday fundraiser:www.facebook.com/donate/542036787426523/ ... Happy Tails Virgo!Virgo, now named Cleo, has a happy tail, she is doing great in her forever home! Her spirit is so sweet, gentle and happy. She’s brought so much joy into our lives with her silly hound antics! Her favorite activity is playing with her friends at daycare and the dog park. Her favorite toy is a ball and she is a natural at fetch! Thank you, Saving Grace, for bringing this precious angel into our lives! #SGHappyTail ... See MoreSee Less
He’s a lover, not a hunter, and maybe that’s why Deerfield caught his freedom ride to the farm, but however he got here, we’re glad he did! He’s a hound’s hound with fantastic soft long ears, the cutest wiggle-butt, and affection for anyone who cares to stop by! Volunteer Brandy couldn’t get enough of him during shift, and he was happy to oblige! (One of the many perks of volunteering at the Farm!) Meet this large, friendly lovebug with an adoption request, link in our bio! I love his wiggly butt when he wags! He’s a lovely big friendly boy!!
We have a hound from Saving Grace that we adopted a couple years ago. When we went to meet some dogs, both hubby and I said "we're not hound people". Welp, our Vega changed that attitude right quick! She is the sweetest, and I'd match her wiggle butt up against Deerfield any time but I think it'd be a tie! I've never owned such a snuggly dog! Not the best but she rarely sits still.
