How do I adopt from Saving Grace?

We provide a unique adoption experience to pair you with dogs that fit your needs and profile.

Host a Dog for a Weekend!

Most weekends, we have dogs that would love to sleepover at YOUR house.

Join our Foster Team

Before our guests are ready for adoption, they often need to spend some time in foster getting healthy and socialized. Do you have space in your house and your heart to help out?

Volunteer with Us!

There is always a lot to do both at the farm and off to support the mission of Saving Grace. Let's see if there's something that you can do to help us out!

Thank you to everyone who donated to Kinder, Nestle, and Ferrero! These pups are part of a litter of orphans that came to Saving Grace hoping for a chance. The orphans were all accepted by Reese, a sweet mama dog who only had one puppy of her own. These three puppies were born with eye defects and had surgery to have the malformed eyes removed a couple of weeks ago. They have healed wonderfully and are ready for their forever homes! 🐶Kinder and Nestle each needed to have one eye removed. Since their malformed eyes never worked, they are already adjusted and can do everything that a normal puppy can do! Both of Ferrero's eyes were malformed and had to be removed. He has been blind since birth and grew up in a loving foster home which gave him structure and confidence. Using his sense of smell and hearing to navigate, once he is familiar with an area he is very independent! 🐶All three pups are happy and healthy and can't wait to find their forever families. They will be onsite for appointments on Wednesday, December 1st. For more information on each puppy and to submit an adoption request, visit our website. ... See MoreSee Less

Host Update for the amazing Wesley!"Wesley was a great house guest this past week. Although he didn't like the car at first, by the end of the week he was jumping in all by himself. He was very good on the leash, never pulling me and stayed right by my side. He is a very sweet boy always wanting to lean on you, rest his head for a nap on your lap or give kisses. He is a ham for attention so the only time we ever heard him bark was twice and both times was for more pets. He was very good with the little kids in our neighborhood and very excited to meet new people. He didn't have one accident all week! He was very good at letting us know when he needed to go out and would sleep through the night no problem in his crate. He was 50/50 with new dogs and would let you know by either hiding behind you or by running up to the other dog. He liked to play with his rainbow worm plushy and would go down for a big nap after a good walk or playtime. He made a great walking and then TV binging companion. He is more socially motivated than food motivated. He definitely prefers to play with others than by himself. He would make a great companion for a family with older children or someone with another dog for him to play with. He has a great personality and is very goofy. He liked to sleep on his back half under our bed and would always turn on his back for good belly rubs! Thank you for the opportunity to host this fella for the week!" ... See MoreSee Less

Nettie is thankful for all of her amazing host families, and is looking for a furever family to share her hugs, kisses, and snuggles everyday! As she's searching for that perfect home, see what some of her hosts have said about their sleepovers with Nettie:"Oh sweet Nettie! We had the pleasure of hosting her this weekend. It was our first time hosting and we couldn't have been paired with a better dog. She immediately fit into our home. She is the biggest cuddle bug! She will bury her head into your chest, lay on you or just curl up beside you for a good nap. She is completely house broken. We didn't end up using the crate and she slept with my son the whole weekend (through the night). She loved her walks and is great on a leash. I don't think her adorable little nub stopped wagging the entire time she was with us. If she's not napping she loves to play with toys but is content playing by herself too. She is seriously one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met and is so deserving of a good home.""Nettie is a very sweet and patient dog! She tolerates all the snuggles you can give her and certainly would rather lay next to you than piled on top of you. She very much likes to be wherever you are. She doesn’t particularly chew on things but she gets antsy sometimes, so we found she would love to have some good toys and bones around to keep her busy. Walking is interesting with her - she doesn’t pull, but sometimes she just doesn’t really want to go! (I guess we can all relate to that some days.) We didn’t crate her much; we are home most of the time, which I think she preferred because she wasn't a big fan of being in her crate. She was a very sweet companion and we enjoyed having her for the week. (Also to some of the more wary; she didn’t seem to shed much!)"Nettie has many talents (including not shedding much!!!), but her love and snuggles for humans of all ages is unmatched. To meet Nettie, head to our "adopt" page on our website and send in an adoption request to schedule an appointment! To check out how to host a fabulous dog like Nettie, head to our "host a dog" page on our website and sign up! Don't forget to check on upcoming events to meet incredible Saving Grace dogs wishing for their own home for the holidays ❤️ ... See MoreSee Less

Host update from Topeka's sleepover!!"Topeka is the best girl in the world! She is such a happy little wiggle-butt and has never met a stranger. She loved getting attention when I had friends over, but she's also perfectly fine with a sleepy, lazy Sunday on the couch. She had no accidents and slept great in her crate each night. When I needed to leave the house she did awesome in her crate, normally sleeping or chewing on her bone. She did not have an opportunity to interact with cats or other dogs, but she did see a dog in passing on a walk and didn’t seem too curious. She does great on a leash and I would image she would be fine with older kids! She loves to flip over onto her back to receive some well-deserved belly rubs. She rode in the car very well. She is a quiet, low energy girl who just wants to be by your side. She would love long daily walks or would be perfectly fine curling up in the sun all day. Everyone who met Topeka adored her! We are confident that she will find a loving home very soon!!"If you may be the loving home that Topeka is looking for, head to our website and submit an adoption request to set up a time to meet her! ... Read about Carlotta's amazing sleepover last weekend with her awesome host family!"Carlotta and I had a great time this past host weekend! She warmed up and settled into the apartment life very quickly. She likes to play and chew on a bone but is also very happy to relax and nap on the couch. She loves to snuggle and get her belly rubbed. She did great on her walks and didn’t pull on the leash. No issues with barking at other dogs or when left by herself. We didn’t have any accidents inside and she slept well in her crate. She is such a sweetheart and will do great in an apartment or home!"If this beautiful girl sounds like a great fit for your family & your lifestyle, come on down to meet her!!!
