K9 Solutions LLC is offering our next free monthly foster workshops so your problem rescues will be more adoptable on Sunday, July 10, at 5:00 pm. This workshop is on a first come, first served basis so let me know as soon as possible if you wish to attend. If anyone needs to reschedule, have them call 779-3813 by Friday afternoon so we can replace them with someone on the waiting list. Due to the limited space and an unbeatable fee :), anyone who chooses to just not show up will not be allowed back.

Testimonial from rescue volunteer: \\"The one hour with Donny cannot be overestimated...it was nothing less than life changing for me as a foster and with my own dog, and certainly for Buckwheat. Now that I am armed with some simple info and skills, Buckwheat is a new dog. He went to his first adopt-a-thon in close quarters with about a dozen dogs, and the first question I was asked by each prospective adopter was...is he always this calm?! He is having a home visit tomorrow with someone who met him at the adopt-a-thon and who very much wants to adopt him. I feel that future fosters will go much smoother for our family and for our foster dogs because of this workshop. I wish all fosters could go BEFORE they get their first dog, and I think that new adoptions would be smoother and more successful if the adoptive family would spend an hour with Donny. After all the workshop is really for the people, not the dog! Just because we love dogs doesn’t mean we understand them or know how to lead them. Thanks so much for the opportunity to meet with him, feel free to pass along my praises!\\"

September 25th

Details forthcoming

At long last, the Saving Grace dogs will have a chance to show off their rainbow feather boas! They will make their first appearance at North Carolina’s Annual Gay Pride Festival and Parade. We’ll need volunteers to take shifts at the Saving Grace booth Saturday, September 25, 2010. It’s easy and fun - the dogs charm everyone, and you provide handouts and goodie bags.

If you have never experienced PrideFest, we can assure you it is the place to see and be seen, enjoy great food, music, educational and crafts booths, and to see a parade with real floats and marching bands, all in a family friendly atmosphere.

Stray Pride: It’s adoption made easy. Saving Grace dogs are strays and ready to show their Stray Pride!
