Saving Grace Animals for Adoption

We have taken in lots of great dogs in need over the past few weeks. While some just need the basics (vaccines, spay/neuter, treatment of various parasites) we are currently experiencing a large number of dogs in need of the basics and far more. Specifically, we have a high volume of dogs needing HW treatment (about 30), several dentals, which isn’t only a teeth polishing but some serious dental work effecting rotting jaws, gum disease and many extractions. The good news is these are all pretty easy fixes and gives the dog a great shot in our adoption program. For a $100, tax deductible donation, you can directly get these dogs on the journey to basic routine care and into loving homes. As you may or may not know we strive really hard to treat the HW dogs as soon as we possibly can but this treatment is costly. To that end we currently have 18 that need a sponsor in order to get treatment underway to go up for adoption. For a $350, tax deductible donation you can change the positive to a negative and put these pups on the path to happily ever after. In the last 4 weeks we have taken in 5 Mamas with puppies born the very night we pulled them for a grand total of 68 puppies. Let us tell you that’s a LOT of puppies! All of the puppies get weekly deworming, puppy food, clean towels and bedding/supplies, vaccines, heartworm prevention, frontline, early spay/neuter and counseling to match them with really amazing families. We need your help providing these dedicated frontline volunteers with some basic necessities: Paper towels-It’s hard to even explain how much these puppies can go through in a day. Whatever you imagine it to be go ahead and make it times 10 and that might begin to cover it! Dog food-High quality puppy and adult dog food. Plain and simple we could use some food. We prefer grain-free but any high quality food will do. Costco sells some that has meat as the first ingredient. Purina One Puppy and Adult, dry and canned are great as well. Bedding—Cleaning out your linen closet or ready to toss last year’s beach towels? We NEED them and will happily take them off your hands. In an effort to replenish our shelves we will be hosting a supply drive this coming weekend, 8/22 & 23. We will have volunteers stationed in the parking lot from 3-4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday to accept your donations. We will even take it out of the car for you! If you have the time and desire to drop by with a donation we would be forever grateful. We know it seems like we are always asking for your help but you never disappoint with your generosity.
