Adoptable Dogs

All of our adoptable dogs are:
- spayed/neutered
- heart worm negative
- up to date on all vaccines
- on heartgard for heart worm prevention
- on frontline for flea/insect protection
- microchipped for their safety
Help us care for these dogs, so we can save more! We traditionally have had up to 20 or 30 dogs available for adoption, and due to a lack of funds and donations we have had to scale down drastically. Hi! My name is Buck and I am a handsome and loving fellow. I am about 4-5 years old and ready for a forever family! I am about 30lbs, a little on the chunky side but that is okay, I am happy as can be. I like to be with you, like to ride in the car, I am good for off leash walks and love walks in the woods or to a pond where I wade around in the water.
I am good with other dogs but I am just as happy with a person as another dog. My favorite things include gardening, bird watching and cooking! I am a super social guy who loves sidewalk cafes and romantic evenings together. I have an interesting background, not so noble but at least it is interesting. I was surrendered by someone in a rural shelter in the NC mountains. They don't get too many adopters there so I was thankful for a place in the Saving Grace program. The house I used to live in was sold and my people moved away, leaving me there without a place to go. Now I am in the market for a more committed relationship who plans to be at faithful as I am. I am housebroken, crate trained and easygoing. I like to sleep on a big soft comfy bed of my own and love the cool hard floors in the heat of the day. I have a great terrier coat with a handsome scruffy face. I am a good size for travel, I jump up in the car and settle right in for a good long drive. If interested in meeting me, please email an application to Saving Grace. I am available for an adoption fee of $300 and have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. I am on heartworm prevention and Frontline for fleas and ticks.

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to SavingGrace@nc.rr.com. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee.
