Adoptable Dogs

All of our adoptable dogs are:
- spayed/neutered
- heart worm negative
- up to date on all vaccines
- on heartgard for heart worm prevention
- on frontline for flea/insect protection
- microchipped for their safety
Help us care for these dogs, so we can save more! We traditionally have had up to 20 or 30 dogs available for adoption, and due to a lack of funds and donations we have had to scale down drastically. Hi! I am Prissy and I am ready to find a companion that is just right for me. I am a tiny girl, weighing about 4 lbs, and am 6 months old. I should be about 8 lbs. when full grown. I am really shy and was hesitant to sign up for Mutt Harmony at first but I am ready to find a great companion so here I am putting my info out there in hopes my perfect companion is looking for me!
I came to the Saving Grace program from a home where the number of animals had gotten out of control. I am only about 6 months old and haven\\\\\\'t had a whole lot of socialization so I am a little shy at first. I snuggle in really tight and love to be held close once I get to know you. I have not been abused in any way but haven\\\\\\'t been around many new people, just a lot of dogs which I love. I am a Dachshund and Chihuahua mix, a quiet, well-behaved girl and am looking forward to moving into a home where people will love me just as much as I will love them. I am looking for a home that will give me a little extra TLC and patience and in return, I will be a great friend and pup! I would be happy with a laid back, easygoing home.
My friends describe me as elegant, dainty and a great listener. My favorite hobbies are reading, needlepoint and butterfly watching. I could sit in your lap for hours while you read, watch TV or work on the computer. I love sunning myself in the warm rays of the sun in the afternoons outdoors or from a window inside. My adoption fee is $350 and includes vaccines, microchip, deworming, spay, heartworm test and started on heartworm prevention. All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to SavingGrace@nc.rr.com. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee.
