Adoptable Dogs

All of our adoptable dogs are:
- spayed/neutered
- heart worm negative
- up to date on all vaccines
- on heartgard for heart worm prevention
- on frontline for flea/insect protection
- microchipped for their safety
Help us care for these dogs, so we can save more! We traditionally have had up to 20 or 30 dogs available for adoption, and due to a lack of funds and donations we have had to scale down drastically. Apricot is a great girl, especially when it comes to snuggle time! She is great indoors, in the car and just about anywhere you take her along. She is about 5 years old and weighs about 10 lbs., full grown.
Apricot came to the Saving Grace program from a rural shelter where she was brought in as a stray. She is great with other dogs and with people. While she likes other dogs, she would be just as happy as the only dog as well. She likes to be held and sticks close by. Apricot loves to snuggle down into a soft blanket or bed where she will settle for the night. She is a darling girl with bright eyes and always a smile. She is not a yippy girl but will not let a stranger come into her home quietly either. Apricot is crate trained and housebroken, loves rides in the car and is great for walks. She is very good off leash for walks in the woods and will stick close by. She is not big in swimming but a hardy girl, in good shape who loves tagging along for good walks. She also loves a snuggly bed, especially the soft ones with sides where she can bury down.
Apricot is a wonderful friend and companion and is sure to be a loving and loyal friend and companion for her life! Please email an application to Saving Grace if interested in meeting Apricot. She is available for an adoption fee of $300 that includes vaccines, microchip, deworming, Frontline for fleas and ticks and spay. Apricot was heartworm positive but has completed treatment. She is a wonderful girl that loves snuggling inside and outdoor activities, especially when it is sunny! She is a dear companion and will be a special member of her new home and family.

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to SavingGrace@nc.rr.com. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee.
