Ivory

  • Breed: Great-Pyrenees
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large

Large white cotton ball is ISO roots, a place to call home, a family of her own, love, good food, and the 3 Bs, a brush, a bath and a bed forever! The big cotton ball now named Ivory is a Great Pyrenees mix who sports the large size and white coat of that breed but also has a few randomly placed black patches and light blue eyes that are simply mesmerizing and speak of another breed hiding in there somewhere! Ivory is about 3-4 years and likely about 80 lbs but underweight and needs to gain about 10 more to fill out her lady like figure. Making lots of noise is not in Ivory‚??s wheelhouse so we do not know much about her past other than she seems to have been a mother at least once and likely roamed farm land up until the time she arrived at Saving Grace. Ivory is the epitome of sweet and gentle and tends more towards meandering around than running anywhere. She enjoys freedom to move about though and would love to go on walks and promises she would never pull on a leash, just not her thing. Ivory‚??s coat is already as a soft and will become downright stunning with care involving regular brushing and good meals and nutrition. Ivory only knows how to be a friend and companion to both dogs of all size as well as people of all sizes and would therefore fit into any kind of family. She is quiet, not having said a word since her arrival, and does well in her crate waiting for meals and her fresh air times as well. She has not likely had an formal instruction about suburban and house life but is eager and ready to move on with her life and into a home that is willing to teach her and provide all of the love she has been looking for up until now. Large white cotton balls of this type tend to blow out of the farm doors in short stay so do not hesitate to get your application in now! All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from our website savinggracenc.org or the Petfinder Homepage. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
