Greta is a sweet sweet tri- colored Walker Hound who arrived at the farm a few days ago. She is about 4-5 years old and might weigh about 30 lbs full grown though needs to pack on a few more to look really healthy. Greta‚??s testimonial to the life she has had so far begins with the honest truth, she was a miserable hunter and she acknowledges she was really really terrible. While she wishes that had not meant having been left by her family, Greta is okay with who she is and is totally confident that she has people out there waiting who will love her inability to muster interest in this pastime of many. In this the next phase of her life, Greta has learned who she is and where she will thrive. Greta would love a family who appreciates that her style is meandering, sniffing, walking, meandering, snuggling. Not running and not retrieving. She will do anything at all if asked by the people she loves and will therefore be a completely amazing family dog. We are 100 percent certain she could woo a snake and charm a porcupine so watch out, you might end up leaving without your pants and wallet! That being said, she could live with 10 dogs and maybe even 10 cats but could also just live with you and provide you with unconditional love, snuggles and companionship like none other. Greta is quiet in the crate and never demands a thing. She will appreciate everything as she has never had a family and the kind of love we know you are willing to give. She is patient and willing to wait for her perfect forever but we certainly can see that coming down the pike real soon! All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee.
