Luke

  • Breed: Labrador-Retriever
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large

Luke is a one of a kind boy who does not need a one of a kind family because he simply fits in pretty much anywhere with pretty much everyone! Luke is a big boy of about 2 years old who is full grown at abt 70-75 lbs of love, fun and smarts. He is likely a lab mixed with a blockier and sturdy breed who has a handsome white coat with black spots and patches and a coat that is wiry as well that is low shed and keeps us guessing as to his breed. Luke is a bundle of fun in a big package. He gets along with everyone at the farm, people and dogs alike and loves the space to run, play and romp. Luke is well behaved in a crate but certainly does not need one as an established gentleman like him will not have accidents in the house. He minds well and has shown a number of times over that he is smart as a whip but gentle as a lamb in spite of his size. Luke would do best in a home with another dog as he really enjoys companionship even when his people have to go to work or other tasks which are BORING! Riding in a car is a no-brainer as is walking on leash and charming the neighbors. One of a kind folksā?¦for real. This sweet boy is ready for forever! All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from our website savinggracenc.org or the Petfinder Homepage. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
