Dancer

  • Breed: Labrador-Retriever
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small

If you are in the market for a young guy who is somewhat special in his own right but will make you laugh and smile daily as well as teach you and your children what it means to make lemonade if life gives you lemons, Dancer is your dude! See, somewhere along the way in his life, or maybe even before he was born, something happened that led to some minor neurological damage that can be seen in the seriously adorable and yummy fashion that he uses his back legs. Hence, his name as this little guy gets around with no issue and can keep up with anything on two or four legs but looks like he is walking on tippy toes on a hot sandy beach in the Florida Keys. This little guy is about 1-2 years old and a true mutt as he is mostly black with a slash of white down his nose. He is adorably portable at about 20 lbs and would be a fixture on your lap on most days as well as in your bed if allowed. Dancer is not limited at all in his daily activities by the thing that makes him special and could teach us all a lesson about finding joy in life and seeing everything around us with a Can Do attitude rather than wondering if we Can Do. Dancer would get along well with another dog and would likely even the win the heart of the most aloof and grumpy of cats. He would adore having a life with children and fun and activity of any kind. Dancer wants everyone to know there is absolutely nothing about him that is less that perfectly what he was meant to be and boy would we all be lucky to have this kind of dancer in our lives! All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee. The Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from the Petfinder Homepage or our new website at www.savinggracenc.org or by clicking on the links below: Click here to download an adoption request today. Click here to download an adoption contract. Click to see our events! Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
