True to his name, Happy, is very thankful Ms. Molly found him, scooped him up and gave him a chance at a forever with his perfect family. Happy is our newest black and white chihuahua who is about 3 years old and 12 lbs full grown. While he is exceedingly grateful, Happy most humbly has submitted his list of Happy Things. Items 1 through 10 all involve some form and fashion of a warm lap, arm, bed, pillow and body with which he can snuggle 20 out of 24 hours per day. Item 11 involves a household that is not too loud or boisterous as Happy is a shy guy who will build some confidence and security in a setting that is not too overwhelming. Happy says he could be happy with teenagers but would rather avoid some of the scary noises of toddler life. Item 12 outlines his ability to get along with other dogs and probably cats as well. He wants his forever family to know that he is flexible and can be happy sharing attention. Item 13 outlines his ability to behave like the consummate gentleman in a crate as well as his extensive knowledge of not going to the bathroom in his crate with an addendum referring back to preferences for laps and beds. Happy figured he would leave his list at 13 items with the knowledge that you will easily be able to fill in the next 87 slots with all of the reasons why you could not imagine life without the Happy you came out to meet that day at the farm. All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee. The Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from the Petfinder Homepage or our new website at or by clicking on the links below: Click here to download an adoption request today. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace!
