Kahlo

  • Breed: Labrador-Retriever
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Medium

Calling all runners, marathoners and hikers, we have THE most perfect match for your active lifestyle. Kahlo is a lab mix young lady who is about 5 months old and weighs about 25 lbs and will be about 45 when full grown. This girl is energy personified in a compact and sleek black body with a little bit of white and eyes that are bright, focused and looking to engage you at all times. Kahlo will literally be able to keep up with anything you have to offer. A few mile run? Ha, that is chump change. A bike ride with a tag along? Kahlo is a smart girl and could likely learn anything including how to keep pace on a bike ride on leash. Hiking would be a breeze. Maybe, just maybe, Cross Fit might be more than she could handle but that is just because she lacks thumbs! As much as Kahlo has energy, she is able to settle in her crate and enjoy a nap when she is done running and playing. She does wonderfully with the other dogs and is not at all overbearing or too energetic to get along with and find fun with canine friends. She would be wonderful with any kind of family, kids a bonus and other dogs just more fun to have. Kahlo makes clear that she enjoys stimulation and enjoys people and can think of nothing better than combining the first with a forever family of her own. She just KNOWS you are out there waiting for an athletic and eager girl like her! All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee. The Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from the Petfinder Homepage or our new website at www.savinggracenc.org or by clicking on the links below: Click here to download an adoption request today. Click here to download an adoption contract. Click to see our events! Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
