Ms. Bud

  • Breed: Chihuahua
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small

Ms. Bud is one of the friendliest girls we have! Always ready to fill an empty lap, tag along for a spontaneous adventure or make a new friend, she is just as happy as can be. She came to the Saving Grace program from a hoarding/cruelty case where she was living in a small area with 17 other dogs. She has not let her situation keep her personality in the dumps, she is happy to have been rescued and is all about seeing just how much the new world has to offer. Ms.Bud is about 7- 8 years old. Even though she is older, she is a spunky girl who is happy to go for long walks and very much enjoys the outdoors. She doesnâ??t mind being with large groups of dogs or is happy to have her very own bed. Ms. Bud is a great companion for shy dogs who may need an outgoing companion for comfort but isnâ??t overwhelming to other dogs. She is good with large dogs and small dogs. Ms.Bud is doing very well with her crate training. She is available for an adoption fee of $350 that includes her spay, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and monthly preventatives. She is truly our social butterfly and looks forward to many wonderful years with a great family. Saving Grace has recently worked with a hoarding case where Ms. Bud and many other dogs came from. Their age is not known for sure and they may be older/younger than estimated. Long term neglect makes it harder to age the dogs. They are doing very well but will need additional training with socialization and housetraining. Please understand that Saving Grace has done a significant amount of care for these animals but their adopter will need to be prepared to be responsible for continuing this training as they are acclimated to family companions. Dogs from hoarding cases, cruelty cases and puppy mills are often used to living in an unclean environment and will need some consistency with housetraining. They are all doing very well with their crate training and on their way to being wonderful pets! All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee. The Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from the Petfinder Homepage or our new website at www.savinggracenc.org or by clicking on the links below: Click here to download an adoption request today. Click here to download an adoption contract. Click to see our events! Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
