Stormy

  • Breed: Beagle
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Medium

Stormy is a Hound mix who has selflessly taken over 'Momma Duty' for some Puppies in need. She has been a wonderful Mom to Pups Sunny and Wendy, and tirelessly made sure they were fed and cared for. Stormy is learning that most humans aren't bad people. She is learning how to be an indoor dog, and has found her favorite comfy spots on fluffy dog beds, and has a stash of her favorite dog toys. She loves to run and play in the backyard. Stormy is learning how to accept belly rubs, warm baths, and gentle kisses. She is timid at new sounds and new things, but with the right amount of patience and love, her sweet personality shines through and you see a dog who is eager for love, and family of her own. She has lived with dogs and cats in her foster home and she would be happiest in a home with another dog in residence. We are guessing she's a young adult around 2 years old. All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from our website savinggracenc.org or the Petfinder Homepage. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
