Tanya

  • Breed: Hound
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Medium

We can say, unequivocally, every one could use ‚??a Tanya‚?Ě in their lives! Tanya is a 2 year old Walker Hound mix who is full grown and weighs about 35 lbs but could use some peanut butter to pack on about 10 more lbs to reach her ideal weight. So, why could everyone use a Tanya you ask? Tanya makes us thinking of a country girl who sits on her covered porch in her cabin in the woods and can wile away whole days without a worry for what she needs to do, where she needs to go or what bill needs to be paid. Tanya is the girl that will lower your blood pressure the minute you join her on the porch. She's the kind of girl that will help you keep the demands of the rat race in check. She's the kind of girl who will help you melt into a chair for hours without a worry about how the wash will get done or what to make for dinner. Tanya is exceedingly humble, likely having had no creature comforts in her life to date. She wears some of that neglect of love and has such potential to blossom into one of those pretty girls with a shiny coat and twinkling eyes. She gets along with literally EVERYTHING...seriously everything. She never demands but always waits for love and attention. She is quiet in her crate and waits for meals. She may not have spent much time on a leash, but will melt right into learning just like she will with anything of a suburban nature that she might not have seen before. All she needs is you and your love....and like we said at the beginning, we are quite sure you need her! All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee. The Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from the Petfinder Homepage or our new website at www.savinggracenc.org or by clicking on the links below: Click here to download an adoption request today. Click here to download an adoption contract. Click to see our events! Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
