  • Breed: Labrador-Retriever / Chesapeake-Bay-Retriever
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Medium

While some might cringe to be called a ‚??senior‚?Ě or ‚??up in years‚?Ě, Isabel at the young at heart age of about 9, knows that label means all kinds of wonderful things! Isabel, we estimate to be a lab with a sprinkle of Chesapeake Bay retriever possibly? As a senior, Isabel is a pretty laid back girl who laughs at the notion of ‚??needing a crate‚?Ě to behave in a home. No worries, this lovely lady will have endless respect for your valuable things, including your carpets which would always be safe in her care. Isabel does not laugh at the notion of a big soft bed‚?¶she covets that fyi! Isabel might walk a bit wonky as a result of her being missing a few toes on her back foot but that does not slow her down a bit. Isabel would be thrilled with walks in the neighborhood but will pass on marathon training. Please purchase a supply of bright yellow tennis balls before bringing this lady home as she prefers to live life with one in her mouth! Isabel does not mind the company of other dogs but prefers to stay far afield of the crazy antics of pups which will ring true to many who have waved goodbye to the days of playing with our kids on the playground! Young enough to enjoy some water between her toes and a nice swim and old enough to snuggle up with you for hours next to the fireplace with a good book in the winter. Isabel is hoping that her ‚??senior years‚?Ě will be golden and is sure her people are coming to the farm soon to meet her! All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee.
