Finn

  • Breed: Beagle
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small

Ever heard of retirement at the age of 2 years old? Well Finn and his buddies, Riley and Winnie, arrived at the farm riding the early retirement bus. See, Finn, a 2 year old lemon beagle who weights in at about 15 lbs full grown, has decided along with his buddies that hunting is for the birds! They are done with working in the woods and done with the stress of having a job. Finn has thrown up his paws and made clear that from here forward, the outdoors that he loves will be for sniffing, meandering and rolling in the grass. Finn wants you to know he grew up in the country and hunting never involved leashes and certain never involved being in a home and surrounded by an adoring family. He would love nothing more than learning about the civilized domesticated life but will need some time to learn about these luxuries before jumping in an becoming the glutton we believe he was born to be. Finn hopes you can introduce him to a leash and exercise for pleasure as opposed to for a job. He is hoping to see a ‚??bed‚?Ě...a commodity whispered about in the doggie hunting corners though one that has been rarely seen and never enjoyed. As a hunting dog, Finn has been surrounded by other dogs for all of his short life and would likely adjust more readily with a canine companion who can be his buddy and tour guide in his new life. You think hunting is for the birds and work is over rated?? Finn is your guy! All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee. The Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from the Petfinder Homepage or our new website at www.savinggracenc.org or by clicking on the links below: Click here to download an adoption request today. Click here to download an adoption contract. Click to see our events! Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace!
