Huckleberry

  • Breed: Collie / Shepherd
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large

There is something about this boy that makes us wanting to start singing when we're around him: ??I'm too sexy for my shirt, too sexy for my shirt, so sexy it hurts.? Huckleberry is an absolutely stunning Shepard collie mix who's good looks are undeniable! Hottie Huckleberry is about a year old and fully grown. His coat is eye catching now, in spite of having lived as a stray most of his young life. No worries though, Huckleberry is quite sure that when provided the with the right hair care products, he'll be able to make even you want his hair for yourself. But it doesn't stop there, Huckleberry is NOT just eye candy for us volunteers. He is a smart boy who is inquisitive and focuses well and seeks out the attentions of people first and foremost. Loyalty would never be in question with this boy, though jealous onlookers might work hard to steal this stunner's attentions. Huckleberry is humble about all of his attributes and is willing to hang with any 4 legged companions both in walk-a bouts and yard as well as games of chase and tug-of-war. This total package will adjust to any kind of home environment as long as he has people to bond with, places to walk and love to share. Go ahead and listen to Huckleberry's theme song and come in through the gates humming....he'll be waiting for you. All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee. The Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from the Petfinder Homepage or our new website at www.savinggracenc.org or by clicking on the links below: Click here to download an adoption request today. Click here to download an adoption contract. Click to see our events! Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
