Thank you for our darling Kobi (Scout). He is such a fun, sweet and great companion for me. He has definitely become my best friend. He has come a long way. He now will play with my grandchildren, running happily around the house and chasing the toys that they throw for him. He, of course, has found his comfort in sleeping with Jim and me, and I don't mind saying that for a 10 pound dog, he can be a bed pig! We just love having him with us and I believe he is a happy little dog too!

Thank you again,
Lori, Jim & Kobi Thompson

Fallon is now Bailey and she is absolutely wonderful! I can't believe how quickly she settled in and has become part of our family. She's already made her place in our hearts and definitely has a forever home with us. My 2 year old adores her and she is so very patient and forgiving with him, tolerating him climbing all over her, taking her toys at times and getting down on all fours beside her while she eats. She's still not sure about the horses but absolutely loves going out to the barn with me and running in the pasture when they are in their stalls. She is great with the cats and doesn't even consider going after the ducks, but sometimes she can't help herself and does try to chase the occasional squirrel, lol.

She loves to ride in the car and is already a favorite visitor at Petsmart and my workplace! She is everything we were looking for and more. We are so thankful to you all for what you do for these dogs. It was a pleasure working with you and we will definitely spread the word about you and look to you in the future.

Thanks again, the Johnson family.

Pixie (Taki), a tri-colored Chihuahua, came into our lives after losing our two other Chis. When we met her, we knew how special she was. She was so shy and timid at first, but with lots of love she has become the most loving and happy dog! We also adopted a sister for her named Poppy, a fawn Chihuahua. They are best friends. They love to go for walks, go camping and just snuggle with mommy & daddy. Pixie does a happy dance to greet us when we come home from work. She loves to roll over to get her belly rubbed. But most of all, she just loves to be loved.

Thank you, Saving Grace, for giving us the best gift ever – Pixie!

Hi, Molly!

We got Roy about 9 months ago and he has been a fantastic addition to our family! He loves the kids (three and seven) and watches them better than some babysitters. He also loves people and other dogs. We couldn’t be happier with him and we take him everywhere without ever worrying if he’ll behave himself. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog. Thank you so much for providing such a great service!

Pom Pom and Doile were the first of all the recent Shih Tzus to be adopted. A message from Pom Pom sums it all up!

She is home!

Dear Saving Grace Family,

Layla joined our family one year ago and the joy and kinship she has spread is immeasurable. Layla is one of the most social creatures on earth. Her eye contact and facial expressions are amazing - she smiles, she offers you a paw to shake, she'll bring you a bone to throw for her!! It was months before we found out how she likes to yodel. She loves to dig hunting for rodents in the woods...seems like she's sniffing out truffles, priceless!!

Laney is now known as Molly and she knows her name well! She is doing great and is thriving in her new home. We have fallen in love with her as she is a very sweet natured girl. She pretty much has free rein of the house and loves to ride in the truck cab with me. Thanks for providing us with such a great companion. She is tops!

Dear all my buddies at Saving Grace -

Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know how much I am loving my new home! It was a long ride back to Rocky Mount, but I did GREAT! I loved snuggling in my mom's lap and listening to them debate about what to call me! In the end, the two year old named me, so I am no longer Oreo. Now I am Buddy, and it fits me great! I am never more than a few feet away from my people, except when they run that crazy vacuum cleaner, and then I am as far as way as I can get!

I have done great in my crate and with housetraining. I even go stand by the back door when I need to go out... pretty impressive after only a couple days! I like playing with my new toys, especially my ball, but mostly I love to cuddle and be a couch potato! Everyone here is spoiling me, except the cat, but I pretty much just ignore him. He likes to give me dirty looks, but I think deep down even he thinks I am pretty darn cute!

My family wanted me to thank all of you again, especially Miss Lynn, for helping them find me. You have an amazing organization and we are all so thankful for all you do!

Love, Buddy (and Mark, Jeni, Jack, Mary, and Abby Henninger)

Molly, we are very lucky that you allowed us to adopt Baylor. He is a great dog, well behaved for his age, listens, and walks great on a leash at the beach! A lot better than his step sister Abby as she pulls you through the sand. Where we live, Baylor and Abby can run free, chase squirrels, birds, deer and other critters without being close to the highway. They can also cool off in the lake behind our house after a chase. I really think he likes it here, friendly with everyone, although he and Abby let you know when a stranger is around. Abby seems to be much happier with Baylor here also. I don't have any real good "post card" pictures yet but will try and get some. You can see them peeking thru the door watching our every move.

Eloise is now Ellie and is settling in fine here at the beach. She has learned sit, stay, come, and has earned the opportunity to be off lead in safe circumstances. She loves meeting other dogs, chasing birds and simply stretching her legs on long walks. But sometimes, she just needs a little rest...!
