Thanks for asking about Duke. I am attaching a picture of Duke and Cooper. They are inseparable! He is the perfect companion for Cooper and has helped bring Cooper out of his shell. (Cooper is also a rescue - he is the old guy in the picture with the gray muzzle).
Duke is just a hoot! I should have renamed him Dennis for Dennis the Menace. You may see the red line on Duke's tongue. That is a string from a toy he had just demolished. He is just the happiest dog ever! He now weighs about 55 lbs. and is slightly bigger than Cooper. I couldn't ask for a better friend, and he fits in perfectly. I did change his name to Sampson (can't have anything named Duke, maybe Tarheel). I sent a small contribution earlier this week and postage stamps. Wish it could be more.
Merry Christmas to you and all your furry friends!
Thanks for the follow up. We kept meaning to email and tell you how much we love Stella! (We changed the name from Strawberry.) She has taken to the new name rather quickly and comes running when we call. She is such a quick learner and just loves to play. I've taken her on many runs and she just loves them!
It seems like she has always been a part of our family. We absolutely love her! Thanks so much for what you do!

Chip is doing very well - he has become a quite spoiled addition to the family :). He's blended into our family very easily - gets along with cats and kids just fine.
Thanks for checking in. Here is a picture of him - he is quite a snuggle boy!
Molly and everyone at Saving Grace,
Merry Christmas to all of God's Angels, and that is what you are! I've been meaning to write before now, but I just couldn't put it off any longer. We are so grateful to have "Roxy" with us. We renamed her and she took to it right away, just like she did to us and our other family members -- kitty and horse. She keeps us feeling safe while being the sweetest dog I've ever owned.
Roxy sleeps with me or my daughter every night and she goes with us everywhere we go. We are so very lucky! Everyone asks where we got such a beautiful and well behaved dog, and we love to tell them about you and your wonderful place.
My daughter (age 12) entered her this fall in a few obedience contests at "Bark in the Park" here in Currituck Co. We are proud to say that she placed 1st or 2nd in every event. She loved the attention, and we thinking about therapy training so she can visit hospitals and the elderly.

Thank you so much for checking up on Jackson! We have changed his name to
Phineus and he is doing really well! After bringing him home in mid-September, we decided to sign him up for some basic doggie education. He
came through with flying colors! He knows many commands now and is always
happy to perform whether treats are involved or not. He loves to go on walks, sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, curls up in his bean
bag chair and plays with his many chew toys. He is such a dear, sweet little dog - we love him so much! He has been a amazing addition to our family - we look forward to many fun years to come!
Thank you for all that you do and thank you to all the volunteers at Saving Grace. Your organization is wonderful and whenever we are out with Phin and people ask where we got him, we always talk up Saving Grace and encourage people to check out your Web site!
We hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We met Black Beauty (now called Tiffany) at your Halloween open house last year and adopted her in November. She has been a wonderful and loving dog and a welcome addition to our family! She enjoys going to watch our oldest son's soccer games while curled up on my lap. She is now a "big" sister to Chelsea whom we adopted in October of this year from MAESSR. The two play together most of the day. They love chasing each other around the back yard. Today I managed to snap a quick shot of them under our tree and thought I'd share it.
Thanks to you and all the volunteers for all the work you do!
First, let me thank you for bringing a loving and happy dog into our lives! He has been a joy to have in our family. He is very healthy and now weighs 27 lbs. and is very happy with us. I am sending you an updated picture of him. He has a new girl friend, Jelly, the German Shepherd next door whom he loves to run and play with every day.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday and I hope everyone is as pleased with their pet as we are!

I saw your Christmas newsletter today and wanted to send you an update on my Sadie. She has truly been such a blessing for me! She really seems to have settled in here with me and has gotten over her separation issues. I donít crate her at home any more and as long as I donít leave out something she can shred, she behaves herself really well. She is so sweet natured and itís fun to watch her run around and play in my apartment! And she has the cutest face that no one can resist!
Iíve taken her to see my nephews a couple of times now, and they really love her, especially my 8 yr. old nephew. Heís taken a liking to her more than the other two boys. Heís quite a caretaker and loves to hold her and help me walk her. He and my youngest nephew (who is almost 5) fight over who will get to sit next to her on the couch, with my 8 yr. old nephew often taking charge to make sure she is okay and that my youngest nephew isnít being too rough with her.
Thanks, again, for helping me find Sadie! By the way, Iíve got a stainless steel food and water bowl set and wire crate that Iím going to take to Gourmuttís at some point so they can get it to you.
Grady (formerly Frank) is a sweet little fellow and is doing well so far. He loved the ride home and really enjoyed seeing all of the Christmas lights. He took right to his food and water bowl. He loves his nice big bed!
Anyway, I hope that I am doing a good job so far. I am so happy about Kate and her new parents. It certainly made my decision to adopt Grady easier. I know that it was the right thing to do for all of us.
Thank you again! You all are wonderful and doing a wonderful thing!
Molly and everyone at Saving Grace,
It has been almost six months since Pepper (formerly known as Pooh) has entered our lives. He is such a wonderful little man! Such a snuggle machine! Pepper has so seamlessly entered our family that it is difficult to imagine life before him.
Thank you all for what you do every day. Our match up was a perfect one and it was because of all of your hard work and love for the puppies!
